UPTET (Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) (UPTET) is a state-position examination, which is held once a time, to conduct the reclamation process both for the primary (1-5 class) and for the upper primary (6-8 class) position preceptors in the Uttar Pradesh Schools. The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) conducts the UPTET test. Last time, UPTET 2020 didn't hold due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Thus, UPBEB will conduct the UPTET 2020 in 2021. UPTET 2021 Test Pattern
UPTET 2021will be conducted in two separate papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be conducted for campaigners applying for the appointment of a schoolteacher for classes 1 to 5. Whereas, Paper 2 will be conducted for the appointment of the schoolteacher for classes 6 to 8.
Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be conducted in offline mode.
Paper 1 includes 5 subjects/ sections and Paper 2 includes 4 subjects/ sections.
The duration of both the papers is2.5 hrs (or 150 twinkles)
Ideal type multiple choice questions are asked in the test.
1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and there's no provision of negative marking in UPTET.
